The Hohenheim Research Center for Health Sciences (FZG) provides a dynamic platform for researchers, lecturers, young scientists and students dedicated to life science and health topics. In accordance with the 'One Health Concept', we promote high-level research across several disciplines by

• joining expertise for "Systemic Health" research

• building bridges between bench scientists, clinical investigators, health researchers, business and public stakeholders

• strengthening national and international research networks for exchange and productive partnerships

• obtaining funds for integrated research projects focusing on major scientific and societal topics.

Based on the specific portfolio and expertise at the University of Hohenheim, research on healthy nutrition and preventive health care is given particular importance. To ensure stakeholder engagement and maximum impact of projects,“top down” strategy and “bottom up” initiatives are linked tightly.
