WALA Cooperation

As a result of the WALA Workshop (09/2020), new contacts between Hohenheim and WALA scientists have been established and ideas developed, which strengthen our cooperation and help implementing joint projects.

  • Scientific exchange, joint publications on structural characterization of plant constituents (Core Facility) and on biodiversity measures for species diversity in grassland and forage-growing areas at Sonnenhof Bad Boll (Dr. U. Thumm).
  • Field trip to WALA medicinal plant garden, Naturamus and Sonnenhof as part of BSc and MSc modules 'Plant Production in Organic Agriculture', Experience Day and "Field Talks" (Dr. Kunert, Dr. Zikeli);
  • Thematic seminars at WALA (Fg. for Biofunctionality of Food, Prof. Jan Frank) and for TPL III module 'Applied Phytochemistry in Industrial Practice'.
